FA 30

Filtration is the method of choice in case high bacterial counts are expected. In Germany, filtration is stipulated for measurements at biological workplaces – e.g. compost works, waste sorting plants.

The filter adapter FA 30 is operated with the battery-powered sampling system MBASS30V3.

Possible sampling media include commercially available gelatin filters in sterile disposable units (e.g. Sartorius SM 17528-080-ACD).
The use of other filter media is possible and depends for usage of the MBASS30 on the vacuum required.
